Alright ladies, I may be a high heel whore but even I know that a pair of flats can come in handy every now and again.
With that in mind, the Michael Kors MK City Flat is a versatile rubber soled, leather flat. It is elasticized around the foot and only has a teeny tiny half inch heel so it is easy to pack in a carry-on bag when you’re on the go.
The style is very polished yet offers a sport-like sensability. Though not boasting many colour options, you can get it in a monogrammed textile. But most importantly for all you brand whores, the infamous MK label is on the back of the heel so all your friends will know who you are wearing!
What I Love
I LOVE that the Michael Kors MK City Flat is made with soft leather that stands the test of time. You can get away with wearing these flats day after day and not see any wear or tear, one of the things I love most about this shoe.
On top of that, if you love to stroll through the city but want to look fashionable, the rubber sole keeps your tootsies nice and comfortable, not to mention looking damn cute.
What I Loathe
Warning! Warning! Though I love the soft leather and elasticized top, I hate how stinky it makes your feet. Orrrr maybe I just have stinky feet. Awwwkward.
The cut is very narrow so that coupled with it’s design and material means no breathability hence, stinky feet!
Also, for my fellow high-arched sistahs, this may not be the shoe for you. The Michael Kors MK City Flat has little arch support so strut right on by these babies if that is what you are looking for in a flat. Or if you are a serious trooper, are loving the style, and think you can hack a little pain, well then hell girl, buy these babies right this minute!
Finally, toe cleavage, or no toe cleavage; that is seriously the question! The cut is at that random part of your foot where it’s questionable whether or not the designer wanted to bare some tootsie or keep ‘em under cover. That being said, beware of blisters forming in that area.
Work It Girl
As I said, it’s luxury sportswear, but how the heck do you pair that with an outfit? The versatility of the shoe allows you to dress it up or dress it down!
Since the MK City Flat doesn’t come in many colours, add a pop of colour with a cute dress, your accessories; a bright tote bag or a chunky necklace.
Take these flats from day to night by throwing on your hottest jeggings and a leather jacket. You’ll be comfy and sexy!
